13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Arianna Manabat met with Director Diana Wise on August 1st, 2022 at approximately 9:45 am to deliver complaint finding for the allegations mentioned above. LPA observed 64 children in care being supervised by 7 staff.
It was alleged that staff did not prevent day care child from being bitten by other day care children and that a day care child sustained injuries while in care due to lack of supervision. Through observations, interviews with the Director, staff members, and the reporting party (RP), LPA found that staff members are providing adequate supervision to children in care. The staff members have provided evidence of action plans for the affected child as well as documented the injuries from bites. Based on the information obtained, LPA was not able to determine that the above allegations have occured. Therefore, the allegation is determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove it. An exit interview was conducted. Notice of site visit and appeal rights were also addressed. The Notice of site visit shall remain posted for 30 days for guardian/parental review.
