25 | Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alecia Sifuentes and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx met with Applicant Jennifer Tommasini for the purpose of a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant requests an infant component for 12 infant ages 0-24 months, a preschool component for 45 preschool children ages two years to entry into kindergarten, and a school-age component for 14 school-age children in kindergarten to nine years. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The fire clearance was granted and received on 2/28/2025. The facility will be providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks for all programs as well as during holidays and summer for the school-age program. Parents will provide formula, breast milk, and baby food for their infants.
LPA reviewed with applicant the LIC 311A, Records To Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted.
LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with applicant and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed applicant of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at: https://www.cpsc.gov/, and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one infant classroom located in Baby Nook, three preschool classrooms located in Engineering Nook, Music Nook, and Jungle Gym Nook, and one school-age classroom located in School House/Art/Science/Lunch Nook.
