25 | On 08/26/2024 Licensing Program Manager, Cynthia Brannon, and Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Anita Tristan and Valentin Hernandez conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPAs met with preschool teacher, Rebecca Yang, at the above facility. The purpose today’s inspection is to observe areas regarding two waivers request to submitted on 08/21/2024 in the preschool area.
The Facility is requesting a waiver to share the restrooms with the neighboring classroom, room 30 Special Day Class Transitional Kindergarten and for the preschool class to use the TK and Kindergarten playground during construction.
Upon arriving at facility, construction is taking place. Per preschool teacher, the sharing of the outside playground is temporary. The waiver request did not indicate start date and estimated ending date of construction. A call was placed to Health and Safety Supervisor for the required dates of construction. Per information acquired by staff, the playground waiver is temporary. A follow-up call to Health and Safety Supervisor to gather the required information before the playground waiver can be granted.
During the inspection, LPM and LPAs toured the facility inside, outside and a census was taken.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.

This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. |
