32 | There are 2 classrooms (Preschool 1 and Preschool 2) used by preschool children. Room measurements were taken and reviewed with Director Rubisela Sanchez. The total inside preschool area measured to an approximate 1,747 square feet which will accommodate the requested capacity of 48 preschool children. There is adequate storage space available for children's belongings in the classroom. Director understands that children's equipment needs to match the capacity she is licensed for. Toys and equipment appear to be age appropriate. There is a total of 6 toilets and 4 sinks/hand washing fixtures which will accommodate the requested capacity of 48 preschool children.
The approximate outside square footage for the play area is 16,880 which will accommodate requested capacity of 48 preschool children. Applicant stated there will be a shed placed in the play yard for storage but is not sure at the moment. Applicant understands that storage shed square footage will be taken out of outdoor play area. There is adequate shade available in the outdoor activity area with the building overhang and trees. The toys and play equipment are in boxes and will be put away once storage shed is in place. LPA reminded Director Rubisela Sanchez, to provide adequate supervision at all times.
A fire clearance of 92 consisting of 48 preschool children, 20 infant children, and 24 toddler option children was received on 10/04/2023. Fire clearance was approved by Reedley City FD Fire Prevention.

Facility Representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over responsible for administration or direct supervision of staff, persons who provides care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5-days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30-days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
Applicant was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org site, a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
