| On 11/30/2023, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Nancy Her and Joe Pacheco and Licensing Program Manager Deborah Lowe conducted an unannounced case management inspection and met with Director Rubisela Sanchez. LPAs explained the reason of the inspection and a tour of the center was conducted both inside and outside.
On 10/12/2023 the following was requested to be corrected before licensure:
· Updated LIC 200A
· Corkboards/bulletin boards need to be mounted in the classrooms
· In Preschool 1 classroom, the cabinet under the sink needs to get fixed.
· All shelving units need to get anchored
· There is a shelving unit that has the backing loose with staples exposed, and it is also cracked. This will need to be repaired.
· There is a large cabinet that has a door loose that will need to be repaired.
· In Preschool 2 classroom, the cabinet will need to be mounted.
· The cubbies will need to be put in place.
· The bolts on the fence in the outdoor play area need to be made safe for children
During today's inspection, LPAs observed that the above items were corrected. The preschool outdoor area has a shed in place. The approximate outside square footage for the play area was remeasured to account for the new shed is 16457 which will accommodate requested capacity of 48 preschool children.
