On 3/15/23 an unannounced complaint inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Harris. LPA met with Director, Stephanie Schwab and a census was taken. LPA reviewed the above listed allegations with Ms. Schwab. The purpose of today’s visit was to close the complaint investigation.

The investigation consisted of interviews with the director, staff, as well as a the review of facility records, policies, and children's files. The Sprout About app and copies of the face to name transition sheets and diapering logs were also reviewed. The facility did not have camera footage taped. Children enrolled were too young to be interviewed.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, based on statements received during the investigation and documents reviewed, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur; therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency is cited during today's visit. An exit interview was conducted with Ms. Schwab. Notice of Site Visit to be posted for 30 days.
