25 | On 02/16/23 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jose Penate conducted an unannounced case management inspection. LPA met with Director, Lucy Cassarino for the purpose of conducting a case management inspection, regarding lead testing that was completed at the facility.
Fresno Regional Office received notification of water lead testing completed for the facility. After discussion with Director and after review of sample reports from BSK Associates it was determined that the facility did in fact test outlets at the facility but were not tested for the correct outlets available to Preschool children that is licensed by Community Care Licensing (CCL). After review Outlet D did in fact have high levels of lead but this outlet is not utilized by CCL licensed classroom. LPA discussed with Director that only outlets utilized by CCL licensed classroom are to be tested and no other outlets located on church campus that are not used by CCL licensed classroom are needing to be tested.
The current testing that was submitted to CCL in inconclusive due to all outlets tested not being the correct outlets. LPA discussed with Director and toured the classroom to identify each outlet that needs testing. Director confirmed with LPA and stated that testing would be redone and notify CCL once the testing has been completed.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations no deficiency is being cited.
An exit interview was conducted with Director, Lucy Cassarino.
