25 | On 3/16/23 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Joseph Pacheco arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced case management inspection. This facility is located on the northeast corner of Clovis Elementary School. LPA met with Clovis Unified Preschool Program Supervisor, Erika Whitney and explained the reason for the inspection. On 3/13/23 facility reported to Community Care Licensing that due to a plumbing issue the two toilets and two sinks located inside the classroom are not working. Facility has requested to temporarily use the restrooms located in Kindergarten Classroom K1, which is located two buildings over, until 3/24/23 when the repairs are scheduled to be completed. LPA observed the restroom located in the Kindergarten classroom. LPA observed two stalls that contain one toilet in each stall, totaling two toilets. LPA observed one handwashing station outside the bathroom, inside the Kindergarten Classroom. Staff will be escorting the children to and from the preschool classroom to the Kindergarten classroom to use the restroom. Staff understand that preschool children are not to be using the bathrooms at the same time as Kindergarten children and that visual supervision of the children is to be maintained at all times. LPA observed the bathrooms to be in a safe condition with no hazards. Licensee understands they are to contact Community Care Licensing if the preschool bathrooms are not ready for use by 3/24/23.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
