32 | All staff at the facility who had tested positive for COVID-19 were advised to quarantine for five days and return only if symptoms improved, but staff were not required to take a COVID-19 test on day 5 prior to returning to work. On 02/18/2022, LPA provided Licensee Kristen Peterson with the updated quarantine guidance and advised that staff should only return to work after day 5 if they receive a negative COVID-19 test; otherwise, staff should quarantine for the full 10-day period. Licensee has since shared the document with facility staff, who are now familiar with the updated quarantine guidance as set forth by CDPH.
The investigation revealed through interviews, LPA’s observations, and review of records, that although the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence at this time to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, no deficiency is cited during today's visit.
An exit interview conducted with Director Becky Ihara. A copy of this report and Appeal Rights were provided and discussed with Director.
A Notice of Site Visit Form was posted on parent's board and must remain posted for 30 days. |
