25 | On 11/18/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ruby Ocegueda, conducted an unannounced Plan of Correction (POC) Inspection. LPA met with Director Amelita Davis to review the POC associated to the deficiency cited on 10/20/2022. LPA toured the facility and took a census. LPA verified the following: cockroach insects were no longer present in the kitchen area.
LPA inspected facility kitchen and observed that all drawers were free of cockroaches and no droppings were observed. The kitchen was clean and orderly. The plastic ware and utensils were stored inside plastic zip log bags. No cockroaches were observed in any other part of the facility during the tour.
Director Davis also provided LPA with a copy of the service log and service receipts from the pest control company. Per Director Davis, the pest control company only comes on Friday evenings and Director has notified the parents. Director Davis stated she would continue to work with the pest control company to ensure that the insect problem did not occur again.
LPA cleared the deficiency on this date and provided Director with a "Letter of Deficiency Citations Cleared." An Exit interview was conducted with Director Amelita Davis.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
