32 | Child #3 suffered an open wound but there was no bleeding. Staff tended to Child #3 wound and contacted their authorized representative. Child #3's authorized representative picked up them up and took them to the doctor for further medical examination. No further medical treatment was required. LPA observed the area where the incident took place and did not observe any tripping hazards nor any sharp, loose or pointed parts on the table.
These appear to be isolated incidents and staff took appropriate measures to address each child's injury, following appropriate policies, regulations and reporting requirements.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Jeni Stevens.
This report shall be made available to the public upon request. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
