On 11/25/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Yesenia Fierro arrived at the facility to conduct an unannounced complaint inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to deliver investigation findings. LPA explained the allegations to Licensee, Sonia Barrera and a census was taken.

Throughout the course of this investigation LPA conducted observations and interviewed staff and parents. Regarding the allegation, licensee did not provide a safe environment for children in care. Interviews conducted revealed there was an incident involving a child snapping their bracelet, which resulted in small beads scattering throughout the home. However, during LPAs observations and tour of the facility, LPA did not observe any hazards in the home, toys, dramatic play equipment, and materials were age appropriate. LPA observed the home to be safe.

In regard to an alleged lack of supervision resulting in an injury to a day care child. Interviews conducted
with complainant, licensee and parents revealed inconsistent statements, the information did not corroborate the allegation. Although the allegations may have happened, or/are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiency are being cited during today’s inspection.

Licensee was provided with a copy of appeal rights. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Sonia Barrera.
