25 | On August 27, 2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Paul Garcia conducted an unannounced Licensee initiated Case Management visit and initially met with childcare assistant Aycoe Bjork. A tour of the facility was given, and a census was taken. This visit was initiated by licensee to inspect one (1) room and one (1) small outdoor play yard that was previously off limits that Licensee Jamie Drake wanted to use as a new primary space for the children in care.
A current updated facility sketch was reviewed, and Jamie confirmed that the day care room, connected bathroom, bedroom #1 (sleep room), small outdoor play yard and the large outdoor play yard located in the back yard areas are now used for providing care and are accessible to children. All other rooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of child safety gates and door spinners. Safe toys and play equipment were observed in the day care room. Observed also was a serviceable rest room that contained no hazards to the children and LPA also observed the small outdoor play yard to be clean and safe for children to use. LPA approves the immediate use for all the new areas mentioned above.
LPA confirmed that the new facility sketch that was received during visit matched licensees sketch to ensure the accuracy of the areas being used.
LPA provided Licensee Jamie Drake with technical assistance of the CCLD website and the training's that are available to her pertaining to capacity.
Per Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 3 of the California Code of Regulations no deficiencies are being cited today.
Report was reviewed with Jamie and an exit interview was conducted. Notice of Site was provided and must be posted for thirty days (30). |
