Facility was previously licensed under facility number 103808816. Upon arrival, LPA met with Applicant Marha Jimenez. Applicant is requesting to be licensed for 130 preschoolers 2 years to 6 years in the preschool classrooms; 16 toddlers ages 18 months to 36 months in the toddler classrooms; and 8 infants ages birth to 24 months in the infant classroom. When medications are on site, Ms. Jimenez stated that they will be in the main office. A fully equipped first aid kit is located in the main office. There is an operational carbon monoxide detector on site located in the classrooms. All required licensing documents were observed posted in the lobby. Children will be signed in and out at the lobby.
LPA continued to tour the facility and measured all indoor and outdoor activity space. Total preschool indoor activity space measured 2,388 square feet, which is only sufficient to accommodate an overall capacity of 68 preschool children. Total toddler indoor activity space measured 1,659 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate an overall capacity of 47 toddler children. Total infant indoor activity space measured 475 square feet, which is only sufficient to accommodate an overall capacity of 8 infant children.
LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, napping cots/mats, cribs, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Infant toys are safe with no sharp edges, splinters, or points, nor made of small parts that can present a choking hazard. Drinking water is available in the classrooms via water fountains. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. Fire clearance was granted on May 19, 2025.
