25 | Prior to today's inspection, LPA telephoned call applicant and conducted the COVID-19 Emergency Response Tele-Inspection Screening Process. On July 18, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Marisol Perez for a pre-licensing/ change in location inspection. Applicant, her husband, her adult son and three minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on July 8, 2022.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on July 12, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the home’s hallway wall on the left hand side wall.
- This is a single story, four bedrooms and three bathrooms home and children will have access to the bedroom #4 (day care room), bathroom #1 and the garage. Applicant states that the garage or the right hand side of the home run will be the entrance for parents and day care children. Off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by use of a child proof safety gate.
- There is a fireplace in the living room that applicant states it will not be used during day-care hours.
- LPA observed in the day care room; child size furniture, safe toys, and books for the children. There is a television and parents wall mounted onto the day care room wall. Children will nap in the day care room on mats. Infants will nap in play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times.
