25 | On 8/9/23, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Norma Lomeli and Pakou Vue met with Applicant, Teresa Muniz for a pre-licensing/change of location inspection. Applicant and one minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 8/1/23.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 8/1/23. Licensee states that fire inspector did not require for her to install a fire pull alarm.
- This is a single story, four bedrooms and two bathrooms home, there is a converted garage room that will be used as the day care room. The room has it's separate entrance day care entrance. There is heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort. Children will have access to the day-care room, living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by use of plastic door knob covers. Care and supervision will be provided in day-care room.
- There is a fireplace in the living room that applicant states will not be used during day-care hours.
- There are children size furniture, safe toys, and books for the children. Children will nap in the day-care room. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
