25 | On 01/16/2025 at 11:15 AM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Kiriko Lynch and Noah Wheeler. At 11:15 AM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and three assistants were supervising 11 children and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 8 AM-5 PM, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are: garage, shed, and were made inaccessible by child safety knobs, gates, locks etc. The children use the backyard as the main outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard. There is a wood stove insert barricaded by fencing. Five children's records were reviewed at 11:45 AM. Four staff records were also reviewed at 11:45 AM. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
