25 | A location change/prelicensing inspection was conducted today 07/14/2023 at 2:30 PM by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Lynch. LPA met with licensee Jenshen Perez. The licensee is requesting a license for a capacity of 14. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 4 AM to 10 PM. The residence is a 3 bedroom/2 bath single home. There are two adults and three minors currently living in the home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: all bedrooms, garage, gated dog area, upper back yard area, exterior shed. These areas have been made inaccessible by means of child safe knobs, locked, latched, fencing/gates. The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The home utilizes central air and heat. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area. The backyard is completely fenced. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises. Fire clearance was approved by local fire authority on 07/10/2023, and received by Licensing.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living in the home, persons who provide care and supervision to children, and staff who have contact with children, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
