25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) D. Sanchez and T. Dinh made an unannounced Case Management inspection in response to the new playground structure installed at the facility. LPAs were greeted and allowed entry into the facility by Lead Teacher Claudia Corona, who was advised of the purpose of today’s inspection. There were 14 children and three staff present during inspection.
LPAs conducted an inspection on the new installed playground structure. The structure is labeled for ages 2-5 years old. It is firmly secured to the ground and has sufficient cushion to absorb a child’s fall. Playground structure is in good condition, free of sharp, lose or pointed parts. The playground is enclosed by a fence to protect children and to keep them in the outdoor activity area. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Facility new playground structure approval is granted for children use effective today.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies are cited. An exit interview was conducted with Claudia Corona. Claudia was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058).
LPA observed provider placing the Notice of Cite Visit on the wall visible to parents during today’s inspection.
