25 | On September 3, 2025, at 12:25 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jacqueline Macias conducted an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection and met with Licensee, Fabiola Escobar. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. Licensee was provided the Entrance Checklist upon arrival. The Licensee, two (2) staff, and thirteen (13) daycare children (3 infants, 3 toddlers,7 school-aged) were present in the facility during the time of inspection. Days and Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday from 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.
At 12:35 pm, LPA and Licensee toured the indoor and outdoor of the home. This one story facility is a three (3) bedroom, two (2) bathroom house. The following areas used for child care are:. Daycare area, kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway bathroom, bedroom #3, the shaded and fenced backyard (playground area). Off limits areas are bedroom #1 and #2, bathroom #1, laundry closet,
and are inaccessible through use of child safety doorknob covers.
The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector met requirements and are operational. Hazardous items were made inaccessible to children during the inspection. The licensee has toys, play equipment and materials available. The home has a fenced backyard available for outdoor activities at time of inspection. Licensee states she provides continuous supervision of children during outside activities at all times.
At 12:45 pm, LPA observed that the backyard is enclosed with a wood fence and has an in-ground swimming pool that has enclosure, fence, wall or other barrier that isolates the swimming pool from access to the family child care home.
