13 | On 06/06/22 at 12:00 p.m., Licensing program Analyst (LPA), Rajani Goudreau conducted an unannounced complaint inspection for the purpose of delivering the complaint findings to the above listed allegations. Upon arrival LPA met with Licensee, Graciela Chavez, and proceeded to tour the facility. During the inspection there were nine children in care with one staff member present. Staff member assisted in translating the inspection. During the course of the investigation, records were reviewed obtained and from the facility, interviews were conducted with the Licensee, staff member, daycare children and parents.
On April 13, 2022, Community Care Licensing (CCL) received a complaint alleging Licensee left day care child in a soiled diaper for extended period of time and Licensee denied day care child water. During an interview with Licensee, Licensee denied leaving children in soiled diapers for extended periods of time or refusing children water. According to Licensee, children are provided water upon request and throughout the day. According to parents, there are no concerns regarding the diapering needs of the children or children being denied water. Licensee indicated, the children’s diapers are checked every two hours and on a as needed basis with every diaper change documented. |
