25 | On August 28, 2025, at 08:30 a.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jacqueline Macias conducted an unannounced Required 3-year Inspection and met with Licensee, Anette Carrillo. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. The Licensee, Alejandro Pozo (Licensee’s Spouse), and three (3) daycare children (toddlers) were present in the facility during the time of inspection. Days and Hours of operation are: Monday-Friday from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.
At 8:45am, LPA and Licensee toured the indoor and outdoor of the home. This two story facility is a four (4) bedroom, three (3) bathroom house. The following areas used for child care are: 1st living room (daycare area), downstairs bathroom, downstairs bedroom, kitchen, dining room, 2nd living room, and backyard. Off limits areas are laundry room, garage, and all of upstairs (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms), and are inaccessible through use of child safety doorknob covers and safety gate.
The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector met requirements and are operational. Hazardous items were made inaccessible to children during the inspection. The licensee has toys, play equipment and materials available. The home has a fenced backyard available for outdoor activities at time of inspection. Licensee states she provides continuous supervision of children during outside activities at all times. The upstairs is not used and is gated off at the bottom of the stairway and the Licensee understands the gate must be in place when children under five years are present during day care hours.
At 9:05 am, LPA observed that the backyard is enclosed with a wood fence and has an in-ground swimming pool and in-ground jacuzzi that has enclosure, fence, wall or other barrier that isolates the swimming pool and jacuzzi from access to the family child care home.
