25 | On April 19, 2023, at 2:45 pm., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Vicky Williamson conducted an unannounced case management inspection and met with the Licensee, Laura Gonzalez. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the licensee. There were three (3) daycare children present in the facility during this inspection. During the inspection, Assistant Maria Jimenez arrived to the facility and aided as a translator due to licensee's primary language is Spanish.
The purpose of today's case management inspection is to verify repairs to the swimming pool gate on the premises observed during a visit on 4/3/2023. There is an in ground pool located in the backyard, a five feet high fence encloses the body of water, the fence does not obscure the pool from view. The gates swing away from the pool, is self-closing and has a self-latching device. On 4/6/2023, Licensee provided LPA with a photo and video of the repaired gate.
No deficiencies cited during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee, Laura Gonzalez and Assistant Maria Jimenez, and a copy of this report, Appeal Rights and Notice of Site Visit were provided. Notice of Site Visit is required to be posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA observed Notice of Site Visit posted on the board in the dining room. |
