25 | On 12/11/24 at 12:00 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced, Licensee initiated, case management inspection to add newly built outdoor bathroom and met with Licensee, Alma Ruiz. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry by the Licensee. The Licensee,1 Staff, and six (6) daycare children were present at the facility during this inspection.
On 11/7/24, the department received a granted Fire Clearance for the outdoor bathroom.
Licensee accompanied LPA on a tour of the home and the newly built outdoor bathroom. LPA did not see any hazardous items and is safe for daycare children to use as of todays date.
This facility is now a two story, 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house, and a studio (kitchen and 1 bathroom). Licensee accompanied. The following areas used for child care are: Living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom 1, bedroom upstairs room #1 and upstairs bathroom #2, family room, daycare area 1 (infant area), daycare room 2, backyard, and outdoor bathroom #5. Off limits areas are upstairs, bedroom #2, #3, #4, laundry room, bathroom #3, studio and are inaccessible through use of a safety gate and door knob covers.
A copy of the report and appeal rights (LIC 9058) and notice of site visit (LIC9213) was provided to Licensee and must remain posted for 30 days and advised must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. LPA interpreted and explained the inspection report to licensee in Spanish, licensee stated she understood.
An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Alma Ruiz. |
