13 | On 12/15/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Beneroso conducted an unannounced subsequent investigation to deliver the findings for the above allegation. LPA met with Site Supervisor, Francis Vega who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Upon LPA's arrival, there were 35 children in care observed with 9 staff members providing care and supervision.
The investigation consisted of interviews with staff, children, children's parents, review of facility roster and other pertaining documents related to the complaint investigation. During interviews conducted, Staff members and Site Supervisor disclosed they keep each classroom within ratio and often have an extra teachers/Aides in the classroom to provide additional care and supervision to the children in care. Staff also disclosed they take the appropriate actions when incidents occur by notifying parents and writing reports of the incidents. Based on the interviews conducted and record review, there is no indication there was an incident in or about August 2023 in which a child had bite marks in his arm.
