25 | On 7/20/22, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kathy Pacheco and LPA Diane Mercado conducted a case management inspection with Site Supervisor Yesenia Rubira. The purpose of the case management inspection was to discuss Community Care Licensing (CCL) regulations and COVID-19 recommendations and guidelines.
LPAs reviewed recent Covid-19 cases that have occurred at the facility with Site Supervisor. LPAs verified the cases have been reported to CCL. Site Supervisor informed LPAs that parents are notified in writing of any exposures of Covid-19 positive cases. Site Supervisor also stated that although not all classrooms are closed when there is an exposure to a positive Covid-19 case, the classrooms are cleaned and sanitized per the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines and recommendations.
LPAs discussed with Site Supervisor the importance of following all CDPH, California Department of Social Services (CDSS), and local Public Health Department (PHD) COVID-19 guidelines, recommendations, and preventative protocols, including the following: the utilization of face coverings for staff, social distancing, daily health screening, frequent hand washing, and daily sanitizing and disinfecting of commonly used areas, is in the best interest of children in care.
LPAs reminded Site Supervisor to contact CCL regarding any positive COVID-19 test results for enrolled children and facility staff. LPAs also reminded Site Supervisor that the CCL website (www.ccld.ca.gov) can be reviewed for any Provider Information Notices (PINS) and information related to COVID-19.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, no deficiencies were found.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Site Supervisor Yesenia Rubira.
