25 | On November 3, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, her husband, her adult son, her adult daughter and eight day care children. Licensee, her husband, her adult son, her adult daughter and one minor child reside in the home. Verified licensee’s and licensee assistant's CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on August 20, 2024. Licensee’s Assistant, will be her adult Son, Hector Gutierrez. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on October 26, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on October 26, 2022. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture and safe toys for the children. LPA also observed two high chairs and one play yard. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
