25 | On 11/07/2022, a Case Management inspection was conducted on this date by Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Pete Espinoza, who met with Martha Salgado, Licensee. Licensee is Spanish Speaking. Days and hours of operation are Mon-Sat 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM. Licensee completed alteration/renovations to convert garage for use as Daycare Room. Licensee provided copies of completed Building Permit issued by City of Wasco. The areas of the home that are accessible to the daycare children are the newly converted Daycare Room that includes kitchen and bathroom. Other areas of the home accessible to daycare children are the kitchen and dining area, living room and hallway bathroom. “Off-limits” rooms in the home are made inaccessible by doorknob spinners.
LPA inspected the areas of the home that are accessible to children and backyard play area. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. There are no fireplaces or open face heaters in the home. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no stairs in this home.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Martha Salgado, Licensee.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
