25 | On July 26, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was Licensees, Cesareo Banos and Graciela Ibarra and their adult daughter. Licensees and their two adult children reside in the home. Verified both licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through Pediatric Plus with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on January 30, 2024. Licensee’s Assistant, Diana Banos completed the training through Pediatric Plus with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on January 30, 2024. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on July 18, 2022.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on July 21, 2022. Fire alarm is located on the home’s kitchen wall on the right hand side wall.
- LPA observed children in the day care room; child size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also observed three high chairs, three play yards, a rocking chair and flat screen television mounted onto the wall. There is a parent’s board that is located on the right hand side wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensees state they do not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
