25 | On 09/23/21, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Araceli Gibson conducted an unannounced case management - 90 day follow-up inspection. LPA was greeted by Licensee Leeann Chase, who accompanied LPA on a tour of the home. Present during today's inspection were three children and a Rast assessment was completed .
The purpose of today's inspection was to conduct a post-licensing 90-day follow-up. The areas of the home that are accessible to daycare children are the living room, daycare room, bathroom, and kitchen. During today’s inspection it was determined by licensee to make the fenced backyard inaccessible. Licensee has a large dog in the back yard. LPA observed the home to be safe and clean. No potential risks to the health and safety of daycare children were observed. Licensee stated there are no firearms in the home. No "bodies of water" are present on the premises. LPA observed a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector. There is one other small dog present in the home keeped in a bedroom with a spinner knob on the door to make inaccessible to day care children. Licensee is aware of the safety of children around animals. Licensee was provided information pertaining to conducting and documenting fire drills every six months. Licensee maintains a current roster of the children.
LPA reviewed two children's records during today's inspection. All children's records reviewed were complete with all required licensing documentation. All adults who reside or work in the home have a criminal record clearance or exemption. There are no excluded individuals present in the home.
Days and hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, no deficiencies were cited.
