25 | On 02/28/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Beneroso conducted a Pre-licensing Inspection for a change of location with Applicant Liliana Solorio who guided LPA on a tour of the facility.
This is a one-story house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining area, and attached garage. Family members residing in the home include two adult (Applicant,) and 4 minor children.
The facility will operate Monday through Friday from 5AM – 5PM for less than 24 hours and with a license capacity of 14 children. LPA went over the childcare ratios for a large family home with applicant and provided applicant with a copy.
Main Care Area: Main care will be provided in the living room. Children will nap and eat in the main care room. Per applicant has a for a food program. The day care children will utilize the bathroom on the hallway on the right-hand side. Children will use the backyard for outdoor play time. LPA observed day care area to be clean and orderly, central air and heating, age-appropriate toys and play equipment. There is a designated area for ill/sick children in a corner of the living room. Children will nap in cots in the living room (daycare area). LPA observed cots to be properly stored.
Off-Limit Areas: The front yard, bedrooms 1-4, bathroom #2, and garage area are off limits to the day care children. LPA observed door safety knobs in the bedrooms, making the inaccessible to children. LPA observed a child safety gate installed at the stairs.
