32 | LPA observed day care area to be clean and orderly, central air and heating, age-appropriate toys and play equipment. There is a designated area for ill/sick children by the main entrance. Children nap in cots in the living room. LPA observed cots to be properly stored.
Off-Limit Areas: The back yard, four bedrooms, one bathroom, laundry room in the garage area, attached garage(key locked) and back yard. LPA observed door safety knobs in the bedrooms, making the inaccessible to children. Children may at times be taken the local park for outdoor play with parent consent.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. The knives are in a top kitchen cabinet; medication are in an off-limits room and chemicals are kept locked (under the kitchen sink). LPA observe a black child safety gate at the entrance of the kitchen.
There are educational age-appropriate toys and equipment on the premises.
The First Aid kit with a temperature thermometer was observed. The required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) is reading in green purchase within a year. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in operating condition. Fire and disaster drills are conducted every six, last drill conducted and documented on 7/23/2025 at 3 00 p.m.
Licensee had all the required posted documents: Facility License (LIC 203, Notice of Parent's Rights Poster (PUB 394), Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610A), and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148).
