LPA observed day care area to be clean and orderly, central air and heating, age-appropriate toys and play equipment. There is a designated area for ill/sick children in the living room. Children nap in the den cribs and cots are available.
Off-Limit Areas: Bedrooms #1, 2, 3, bathroom #2(Master bedroom), laundry room, and garage. LPA observed a child safety gate located in the hallway separating the bedrooms(dark metal brown child safety gate observed), making remaining of the home inaccessible to children.
The First Aid kit with a temperature thermometer was observed. The required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) is reading in green and serviced within the year (blue tag observed dated 7/14/2025). Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are in operating condition (tested at 10:45 am.). Fire and disaster drills are conducted every six, last drill conducted and documented on 7/13/2025 at 11:30 a.m.
Licensee had all the required posted documents: Facility License (LIC 203, Notice of Parent's Rights Poster (PUB 394), Emergency Disaster Plan (LIC 610A), and Earthquake Preparedness Checklist (LIC 9148).
The licensee and staff maintain proof of immunization against pertussis (TDAP), measles (MMR), Tuberculous (TB) and influenza written statement declining 2025 vaccine.
Licensees provided certificate of completion Pediatric CPR and First Aid training EMSA approved dated 3/05/2024. Pediatric First Aid and CPR does not expire until March 2026.
Childcare Provider Mandated Reporter training – General, Childcare Provider and Exam are required to be renewed every two-years. Licensees and staff provided Child Care Provider Mandated certificate dated on 2/27/2024.
The following were discussed: No smoking, infant walkers, Johnny jumpers, exersaucers and any other item that falls into that category are permitted in the facility.
