25 | On 11/2/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, her husband and two day care children. Licensee and her husband are the only adults who reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through HIS- EMS Safety with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on 10/14/25. Licensee’s Assistant, Eusebio Madera completed the training through HIS- EMS with Emergency Medical Services Authority stickers (EMSA) and expires on 5/20/25. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 10/13/23.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 10/23/23. Fire pull alarm is located on the living room wall.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also one high chair, a an infant swing and two play yards. There is a parent’s board that is located on the hallway wall.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide alarm, working smoke alarm and first aid kit in place.
