| Based on conflicting statements made in interviews, there was not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged allegations did or did not occur. Licensee stated on 09/17/2025, that she “does not like when parents come inside the daycare,” because they do not use the shoe booties, they let flies inside, they leave the door open, and it distracts her from the children.

LPA discussed with Licensee to ensure that all staff that are left alone with children have a current certificate in pediatric CPR and First Aid. Certificates are considered expired exactly two years after the month and day of the initial training.

Based on observation, LPA Nolan observed a 1 gallon Ortho Home Defense Insect Killer in the laundry room on a shelf. The laundry room was not made inaccessible to children in care by a key lock or a door knob spinner.

Based on record review, the Licensee did not have child files readily available, including the LIC 700 Identification and Emergency Information.
It was discussed that continued violations of Title 22 Regulations and failure to maintain compliance will result in a Non-Compliance conference and may be referred to our Legal Division for possible Administrative Action. No deficiencies cited during today’s visit. A copy of this signed report was given to Licensee, Sylvia Valdez today, October 23, 2025.
