25 | On 8/30/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Rosalba Cabral for a pre-licensing/ change of location inspection. Applicant, her husband, and one minor child reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance or exemption. Fire clearance was granted on 6/20/23.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 8/15/23. Fire pull alarm is located on the hallway wall on the right hand side wall.
- This is a single story, three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms home and children will have access to the living room#1 (play room), bedroom #1 (day care room), living room #2, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by the use of key locks.
- There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room; child size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. Children will nap in the day care room on sleep mats. LPA also observed in the play room; child size table and chairs and a rocking chair. Infants will nap in play yards. Applicant understands she is to supervise children at all times. LPA provided applicant with Individual Sleeping Plan and Safe Sleep handout.
- Facility has 2A10BC fire extinguisher, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and first aid kit in place.
