25 | On 2/3/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli conducted a capacity increase inspection from a Small Family Child Care Home to a Large Family Child Care Home. Present at time of inspection was licensee, Licensee’s Assistant, Jordan Gentry and four day care children; three of them who were napping and an one awake infant. Licensee, her husband and two minor children reside in the home. Verified licensee’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Heart Association and expires on 5/23/2025. Licensee’s Assistant, Jordan Gentry has not completed the CPR and First Aid training. Licensee understands that her assistant cannot be left alone to provide care and supervision to the day care children. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 1/6/2025.
A tour of the home, inside and outside, as shown on the facility sketch, was conducted and the following was discussed and/or observed:
- Fire clearance was received on 1/13/2025. Fire pull alarm is located on the front wall of the home's entry way.
- LPA observed children size furniture, safe toys and books for the children. LPA also a diaper changing table and four play yards in the day care room There is a flat scree television mounted onto the day care room wall. There is a parent’s board that is located on the front wall of the home’s entry way.
- Licensee states she does not have weapons, firearms, ammunition or poisons in the home.
