25 | On 1/9/24, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Norma Lomeli met with Applicant, Ma Corazon Coll for a pre-licensing inspection. Applicant and her husband reside in the home. Verified applicant’s CPR and First Aid was completed through American Red Cross and expires on 3/4/25. Applicant Assistant, Jose Coll has not completed the training. Applicant understands that she will not leave assistant alone with day care children. Background criminal record clearances are verified and discussed, and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 12/12/23.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 12/13/23. Fire pull alarm is located on the home’s entry way on the left hand side wall.
- This is a single story, four bedrooms and two bathrooms home and children will have access to the living room (day care room), family room, kitchen, dining room, and hallway bathroom. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of child proof safety gates and plastic door knob covers.
- There is a fireplace in the family room that applicant states it will not be used during day-care hours. There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort.
- LPA observed in the day care room; children size furniture, safe toys, and books for the children. There is a diaper changing station. There is a parents board on the left side wall of the home's entry way. Children will nap in the living room on cots. Infants will nap in play yards. Applicant
