25 | On 2/5/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), Norma Lomeli and Jose Ruiz met with Applicant, Jesus Maria Rosas for a pre-licensing/change of location inspection. Applicant, her husband, her brother-in-law, one adult son and three minor children reside in the home. Background clearances are discussed and LIS 531 is signed indicating that the adults currently living in the home and/or providing care and supervision to children have a criminal record clearance. Fire clearance was granted on 11/13/2024.
Facility was inspected inside and outside as shown on the facility sketch and the following items were discussed:
- Fire clearance was received on 12/16/2024. Fire pull alarm is located in the day-care room mounted on wall.
- This is a two story with five bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms home and upstairs area will be off-limits to the day-care children. There is a gate at the bottom of the stairs making upstairs area inaccessible. Care and supervision will be provided in converted day-care room, living room, dining room, kitchen and half bathroom. Off-limits rooms/ closets are made inaccessible by use of child safety doorknobs and child safety fence.
- There is a electric fireplace in the living room that applicant states will not be used during day-care hours. There is central air heating/cooling ventilation for safety and comfort and wall mounted air conditioning unit.
- LPAs observed in the day-care child size furniture, safe toys, four cribs, cots, infant changing table, three highchairs, learning toys and books for the children.
