32 | Licensee stated that she does not allow the children to be called inappropriate names. Licensee stated that there are some children who are older and tend to want to call another child names, but she talks to the child, that it's not nice and we should all speak to each other appropriately and respect one another. Licensee stated that her son never calls the children's names. Licensee stated that she provides good quality care for all her day care children. Licensee stated that when the parents come and pick up their children they don't want to leave her day care.
An interview was conducted with Staff 1 (S1) on 4/07/21 at 4:40 PM. An Interview was conducted with Parent 1 (P1) on 4/05/21 at 5:30 PM. An Interview was conducted with Adult 1 (A1) on 4/05/21 at 6:04 PM.
During the tele-inspections, the LPA did not observe any of the children being mistreated. LPA observed Licensee and assistant, spouse supervising all the day care children in a large play room and the children seemed real happy. Licensee was giving the day care children a lot of her attention.
Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
LS’s signature was not recorded on this Complaint Investigation Report (CIR), however, this report was reviewed and discussed with LS, LS was provided with a copy of this CIR; and Appeal Rights, LS’s signature will be on file. All licensing reports are public information and must be made available upon request for at least three years.
There were no Title 22 deficiencies cited during today's video inspection. |
