On Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 1:25 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Mayra Rivera conducted an unannounced complaint inspection regarding Staff left day care child unattended, Staff did not prevent day care child from hitting another child, Staff spoke inapporpriately towards day care child and Staff handled daycare child in a rough manner.

During the course of this investigation, Licensing Program Analyst Mayra Rivera conducted interviews with parents, staff, and children and reviewed documentation. Of the five interviews conducted with parents, four disclosed no concerns with the quality of care provided at the facility and their children have not mentioned any concerns. Of the five interviews conducted with staff, all disclosed awareness of the discipline policy by talking to children, hold their hand and re-direct. All staff disclosed not witnessing staff speaking to children inappropriately and have not witnessed staff handling a child in a rough manner. All staff stated children are not left unattended. During the inspections, LPA did not observe children being left unattended, did not observe staff speaking inappropriately to children or staff handling a child or children in a rough manner.

Of the 3 interviews conducted with children, all disclosed they like coming to school. Parent’ handbook provides information about the discipline and guidance policy, and it states that positive methods of guidance and re-direction is used with teaching the child acceptable behavior and self-control.

This agency has investigated the complaint. At this time, it is determined that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur, therefore at this time the above allegation is unsubstantiated. No deficiency given at this time.

Exit interview was conducted with Director Grace Chong Park. The director was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these forms.



The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit made by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
