25 | On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Cha met with Licensee Sevim Badak. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random inspection of the facility. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the licensee. LPA observed licensee providing care and supervision to one infant and one preschool-age child for a total census of two children. The current hours and days of operation are Mondays through Fridays; 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Physical Plant: This is a one-story family home including a living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, four bedrooms, two restrooms, laundry area, and back yard. Main child care is provided in the living room and restroom #1. The off-limit areas are all four bedrooms, laundry area, restroom #2, kitchen, family room, and dining room.
Indoor/Children’s Area: LPA inspected the indoor/children’s area for safety, cleanliness and good repair. LPA tested the carbon monoxide and smoke alarm to be in operable condition. LPA observed the fire extinguisher, fully green. Per licensee, there are no firearms/weapons on the premises. Per licensee, there is no smoking in the home. Per LPA observation, there is a barricaded fireplace. Per licensee, fireplace is not utilized.
Bathroom: LPA observed the child care bathroom (located to the right from entrance door). The toilet and faucet in good operable condition. The children are provided with soap and towels. LPA reminded licensee to keep all hazardous items inaccessible to children.
Kitchen: LPA inspected the kitchen (located on the left from entrance door) for safety, sanitation, and good repair. Licensee participates in the food program and provides all meals during operational hours. LPA reminded Licensee, if food is brought from the child’s home, the container shall be labeled with the child’s name and properly stored or refrigerated.
