On 3/28/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brittanee Cleveland conducted an unannounced visit to Faith Baptist School to deliver the findings of a complaint investigation received by the Department on 01/18/2024 associated to Complaint Control Number 58-CC-20240118084440. LPA arrived at the facility at 8:00 a.m. and was greeted by Elizabeth Orozco, Director, who guided LPA on a tour of facility. There were seven infants and three staff upon arrival.
The investigation conducted on 01/24/24 by LPA Cleveland and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Raul Navarro, included interviews, records reviews, and observations in the facility. LPA Cleveland obtained a copy of the infant roster, sign in/sign out sheets, and staff timesheets for further review. While interviewing staff, Staff #1, #2,and #3 made no disclosures regarding the allegation. Children were not interviewed because they are non-verbal. LPA conducted two unannounced inspections. During the inspections LPA did not observe the infant room being out of ratio. LPA interviewed P1 and P2, whom both stated there was no concern of ratio.

Based on the LPA’s observations, interviews, and record reviews, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated

The Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
