On January 12, 2026, at 09:52 A.M., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brittanee Cleveland conducted an unannounced investigation to deliver findings for a complaint received. LPA met with Lena Blakeney, Director, whom guided a tour of the facility. LPA explained the purpose of today’s visit is to discuss the allegation stated above.
During today’s visit LPA was guided on a tour with the Licensee, interviewed staff, and obtained rosters.
LPA was able to interview staff at the time of inspection. The Director stated that there had never been any concerns about staff falling asleep during children’s naptime. Staff 2 and 3 stated that they have never seen it happen. Staff 2 did explain that a staff member’s head was down but they were on their phone. Staff 2 stated that the play areas are are always checked in the morning and before children go to play. If something is broken while children are out playing then it is fixed immediately. Staff 2 stated that once, the wind was blowing and the facility keeps containers with paper cups outside, the wind blew away the containers and cups came out, but they were picked up. Staff now keeps the containers inside until it is time for children to go outside. -- Page 1

Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.

The Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Lena Blakeney, Director and Appeals Rights provided.
