25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cynthia Reyes conducted an unannounced case management Inspection to ensure the health and safety standards as required by the regulations governing child care centers are met for this preschool program. LPA met with Barbara Molina, Teacher who took LPA on a tour of the facility indoor and out. LPA took staff names ad census of children in care on this date. New Director Tina Romero arrived shortly after as she was at a doctor appointment with her child.
LPA reviewed new procedures Tina the New Director put in place and consultation was conducted. LPA reviewed and received copies of the staff personnel report as well as a copy of the children's roster. Tina stated as soon as the updated parent handbook/Admission agreement and any changes to the staff handbook are made or updated she will submit them to the LPA. Tina has updated staff and children's files and a check list for all required forms is being used now for both the staff and children. Tina also informed LPA that she has staff meetings once a week.
LPA was informed that the previous director Ellen Head as officially retied as of 10/11/2024. LPA brought up TSP (Technical support system) to the new director Tina's attention, however during this inspection of the physical plant and the paper works, LPA is suggesting that TSP is no longer needed. The facility will stay on the required list for the 2 years as part of their compliance plan from 04/09/2024. No citations were issued on this date.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Tina Romero The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
