On 10/05/2023, LPA Whitmore initiated the complaint investigation and met with Director Rosie Abernathy LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors, observing proper teacher/ child ratios with 50 total children in care and 6 teachers. LPA observes children in all 3 Preschool Classrooms. LPA interviewed, Director, Staff, and Children.LPA obtained Facility Roster, Personnel Report, Preschool Student Handbook, Enrollment Application, Professional Development Meeting Sign in Sheet & Child Data Report. LPA Whitmore reviewed four files.On 12/22/2023 at 10:50 a.m. LPA Whitmore conducted a visit to complete the investigation and deliver findings. LPA Whitmore met with the Director Rosie Abernathy. LPA toured the facility indoors and outdoors, observing proper teacher/child ratios with 23 total children in care and 6Teachers. The Department conducted a full investigation, which included staff interviews, interviews with relevant parties, as well as a record review which included documentation related to the allegations. LPA did not observe, nor was information provided via interviews that provided sufficient evidence to substantiate the allegation of Other-Staff do not allow authorized representatives to enter or inspect the facility.
