25 | On 5/20/2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced 3 year Required Inspection for the above-named Child Care Center. Center is licensed for 24 preschool children, ages 2 years to 5 years of age. LPA met with Director Ilona Gergi. LPA Richmond toured the facility indoors and outdoors and observed 18 children in care, being supervised and cared for appropriately by 3 fingerprint cleared staff members. Facility hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm.
Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained.
There are no swimming pools, ponds, or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
LPA Richmond observed a fully charged 2A:10B:C fire extinguishers in the classrooms. LPA Richmond observed working carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. Fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are wired to the Pull Fire Alarm system. Fire system and fire extinguishers last inspected in July 2025. Lock down drill/disaster drill completed 5/14/2026.
All toilets and hand-washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating condition. Floors in the facility are clean and safe. LPA inspected the classroom and observed age-appropriate toys, books and furnishings. Furniture and equipment are in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards.
LPA observed a prepping area, with a sink, storage for foods and a refrigerator with a thermometer, foods and toxins or chemicals were stored separately, and LPA did not observe any expired or contaminated foods. Solid waste storage containers have tight-fitting covers and are in good repair.
