On 02/26/2025 at 1:30 PM an unannounced Annual/Random Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst's (LPA's) Joshua Ortega and Claudia Kam. LPA announced purpose of visit and met with Facility Director, Rocio Bach. Facility is currently licensed for a capacity of 40, per Director they currently have 27 enrolled. The program currently operates Monday thru Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After school only when school is in session. LPAs toured facility both indoors and outdoors.

Furniture and equipment were inspected for age appropriateness and good repair in each classroom. LPAs observed surface of classrooms to be safe and clean, and child size tables and chairs available for children well maintained. LPA observed learning stations for dramatic play, math, and science with toys well maintained free of loose and sharp parts and soft seating available for quiet play. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. LPA observed water dispenser is available for children in classroom, per Director, drinking dispensers are used to refill children's personal water bottles. Age appropriate sinks and toilets were inspected for availability, good repair, water temperature, toilet paper, area safety and sanitation. LPAs observed two bathrooms available for facility totaling six toilets, two urinals, and six sinks.

LPAs observed a first aid kit is kept in classroom which were inventoried for necessary supplies. LPAs tested carbon monoxide detector which was observed to be in operable condition at time of inspection. LPAs observed smoke detectors and fire extinguishers present at the facility. Disaster drill log was available and last drill conducted was on 01/17/2025. Sick/isolation area is in Office. No children at the facility currently require medications.

PM Snack menus were reviewed and observed posted. Kitchen area was inspected for safety, cleanliness and proper equipment. Kitchen is not used by the facility as no food is stored or prepared on site. Facility provides PM Snack which is delivered by vendor Golden West.

Outdoor equipment was inspected for safety, cushioning material, good repair and age-appropriateness. LPA observed outdoor play maintained at time of inspection. LPAs observed appropriate toys available for children free of loose and sharp parts. Required shade and fencing were inspected. LPAs advised that the children need to be within the direct care and supervision, including visual supervision of the teacher(s) at all times. The children have access to their water bottles during outside play. Play area was inspected for hazards and inaccessibility to bodies of water; no bodies of water or hazards observed.

Sign-in and out sheets and procedures were reviewed, All staff and employees have obtained a criminal record clearance.

Children and staff records were reviewed. Children’s records were reviewed for completeness. 5 children's records were reviewed complete with required documents. Staff file reviewed did have proof of current AB1207 Mandated Reporter Training expires on 07/2026. CPR card expires on 10/2025. Teacher aides are contracted through Child Care Connection who is responsible for verifying records and compliance.

The following were discussed with the Director:


The fire extinguisher type 2A-10BC must be serviced annually or as often as necessary. Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors should be checked, and batteries replaced as needed. Changes should be reported to the Department as soon as they occur such as construction, remodeling, telephone number changes and/or if you move from your location. The Director was also advised of the requirement to report Unusual Incidents and/or injuries to the parent/guardian and to CCLD within the time frame specified by the regulation.

Facility representative was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.

Center was reviewed for lead compliance and center meets standards for lead. Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010, to test their water (used for drinking and food preparation) for lead contamination before January 1, 2023, and then every 5-years after the date of the first test. For childcare center licenses issued after July 1, 2022, the licensee shall test their water for lead within 180 days of licensure pursuant to Written Directives section 101700 (PIN 21-21.1-CCP). LPA verified that the lead testing was completed in accordance to the Written Directives outlined in PIN 21-21.1-CCP.

Facility representative was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.



The facility was found in compliance per Title 22 regulations, there will be no deficiencies cited today 02/26/2025.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
