25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nolan Tcheng conducted an unannounced Annual inspection to the above facility. At 2:05pm, LPA met with Co-licensee, Lin Hu. Also present during this inspection, is Co Licensee David Chu. The licensee states that they currently has 8 children enrolled. A current children’s roster is available and is current. Licensee’s hours of operation are 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
This is a two-story home which consists of 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, large living room (classroom), Laundry room, den/patio (outroom), detached garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use living room (classroom), one downstairs bathroom, downstairs bedroom (nap room), den/patio (outroom), and backyard. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: the whole upstairs which includes 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one downstairs bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, detached garage, and front yard area. All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. The licensee provides food for children in care.
The licensee states that 2 adults and 0 minors currently live in the home. Persons living in the home are identified on a confidential form. Licensee states that they currently have one assistant. All individuals present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed home. Per licensee, there are no weapons, firearms or bodies of water on the premises.
At 2:30pm, LPA was led on a tour of the facility by the licensee. Upon arrival to the house, you enter down the long driveway to the back door area. The first area reviewed was the den/patio area that is used as an activity space. There were age appropriate toys and equipment. Once entering the home, LPA reviewed the living room. Emergency Disaster Plan, Parent’s Rights Poster and the Facility License are observed to be posted. REPORT CONTINUES PAGE 1 of 4
