On 12/07/2023 at 07:45 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Silva Garibyan arrived at San German Family Child Care Home to deliver the findings of a complaint received by the Department on 09/14/23 associated to Complaint Control Number 58-CC-20230914080728. LPA met with Licensees Gerardo San German and explained the purpose of the visit. There were no children present during today's visit.
During the investigation into the allegation listed above, LPA obtained copies of the facility roster, conducted interviews with licensees and one parent. LPA was unable to obtain additional information as the phone number provided "is restricted or is unavailable". Due to the age of the children, LPA was unable to conduct interviews with the children in care.

The allegation indicates that “Staff yelled at day care child.”

Per the Reporting Party (RP), C1 attended this day care in 2012. C1 is 13 years old now and told RP they remember when they attended this day care, the Licensee's husband (RP does not know the name) was yelling at them all the time.

LPA interviewed the licensees. Both licensees denied yelling at any child in care.
The parent interviewed stated that she has never heard licensees yell at children.

Based upon interviews conducted, as documented above, the allegation has been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding of Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
No deficiencies are being cited for the allegations listed above.

Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Gerardo San German.
